How Decisiv Email Management Works

Decisiv Email Management's client side software runs seamlessly within Microsoft Outlook®. The application can be set up to tag and file messages in a semi or fully-automatic fashion, depending on the information management requirements of the enterprise. Upon sending or receiving an email the system automatically assesses both the content and parties involved in the communication, then seamlessly files the message itself or prompts the user to file the email in the appropriate folder. The system can file a message in more than one folder by more than one user, but maintains only one copy of the email thereby dramatically reducing server load and storage requirements. Decisiv Email Management is asynchronous so there is no user-delay in the filing process. The system uses implicit and role-based explicit security, granting only authorized users access to the appropriate information within the system.
